End game is spiked hair, purple eyes, suit and tie. Slowly add more muscle as the game goes on, reaching military muscle size by 25% completion. After saving Gat, headcanon is that Gat gives Boss some money to get back on his feet, so Boss gets a haircut (spiked hair or Donnie’s haircut from SR1), dyes the tips purple, and takes the beard to either clean shaven or clean beard/mustache and goatee. Reasoning for that being that the boss goes straight from escaping the prison to getting cheap clothes (jeans and a simple black and purple muscle shirt) to the bar, then to the courthouse to save Gat. Sadly, unless I’m on PC, boss has no scars, but now wears contacts (gives me freedom with the eye color) and his basic look doesn’t change much until after the Saving Gat mission. SR2: starting off with a skinny boss (muscle mass is lost during the coma) long hair and long, scraggly beard.

Once he eliminated the other gangs, he had plans to turn the Saints into a PMC (Private Military Contractor) style gang for hire.

Explains his weapon training, his stamina, and him being high functioning mute. The entire plan for SR1 is that my character was Dishonorably Discharged from special forces in the military after killing the commanding officer in charge of a experimental military Super Soldier program. SR1: Military-looking character, black buzzed hair, muscular but not muscle-head, very light eyes, no facial hair. Gonna be honest, my Boss has naturally progressed, looks wise, since SR1. In the reboot, free from continuity, we'll just have to see. I replayed SR3 once and created what I can only describe as posh steamgoth Ghostrider, simultaneously switching on limitless ammo, flaming ammo and instant-explosion cars to essentially play a madcap comic book. I also accurately predicted Johnny would be found in a Streets of Rage simulation but I did not predict customization transferring to that segment, and that made it pretty cool.

In SR4, I leaned with the premise and did him up in Matrix garb, long dark coats and shades and all but with splashes and accents of purple. I gave him a suit and fedora hat for 3 aiming for a sort of stereotypical crime kingpin aesthetic, where SR2's boss wore casual and went hatless (although he upgraded to a suit himself late-game, and began walking exclusively with the pimp cane). I did alter the style for each game though. I was later informed by a spectator during SR3 that I had basically designed Robert Downey Jr., this being before I knew who that even was (Iron Man had come out by then but I didn't see any of them), so take that subconscious oddity for what it's worth. In SR3 and 4, for continuity, I recreated the same within the new engine I never got SR1 but in SR2, I just made a character I thought looked good.
